About Rohit

One name, read three ways

Rohit is a common Indian name. On this site it also works as a compact description of the work, in three readings that match its three parts.

Quick answer

Quick answer

What does ROHIT stand for on this site?

Three readings are used. Restoration of Health in Totality describes the clinical work, Rise of Hope in Technology describes the technology work, and Rhythm of Health and Information Technology describes the place where the two meet. They are a way of organising ideas rather than a claim about destiny.

The three readings

01 / TECHNOLOGY

  • Ray
  • Of
  • Hope in
  • Innovation &
  • Technology

Ray of Hope in Innovation & Technology

The engineering side: software, AI, digital systems and ventures. Technology at its best gives people a practical way through a problem they could not solve before.

02 / HEALTHCARE

  • Restoration
  • Of
  • Health
  • In
  • Totality

Restoration of Health in Totality

The medical side: homoeopathy, individualisation and patient understanding. Health is looked at across the whole person, never only the complaint on the prescription.

03 / CONVERGENCE

  • Rhythm
  • Of
  • Health &
  • Information
  • Technology

Rhythm of Health & Information Technology

Where the two meet: clinical knowledge systems, healthcare workflows and AI that supports professionals while judgement stays human.

Why the name is written twice

RohitRohit is the same name repeated, and the repetition is deliberate. There is one person here, with two sides that are equally real: the technologist and the clinician. A coin makes the same point. It has two faces, it is still one coin, and you cannot spend one side without the other.

The first two readings describe the two fields separately. The third, Rhythm of Health and Information Technology, describes where they meet, which is where much of the most useful work now sits. The acronyms are meant to be read with a light touch.

The first reading has since become the working title of a book, ROHIT: Restoration of Health in Totality, written for homoeopathic physicians and students. The books section lists what is published and what is still being written.

One life, two worlds, one purpose

The line at the top of this website says the same thing in plainer words. Two fields, one working life, and a single purpose underneath both: understanding a situation well enough to help, whether that situation is a business process or a person.

The supporting line, one coin and two sides, is a reminder that the two are not alternating careers. They run at the same time and correct each other, which is the subject of the convergence pages.
